Fed and Watered

The 2 Happy Hens love to eat a seed mix containing
wheat, black sunflower seeds and cracked corn.
Blue ice-cream containers are recycled
and are used to store chicken feed.
Chilli eats lettuce out of Lydia's hand.
The 2 Happy Hens are very spoilt and love to be hand-fed.
Lettuce is one of their favourite foods, even if they aren't hungry!
Nestle jumps on the pink bin used to store chicken feed in the shed.
Pink for girls of course!
The orange bag is 'LIVAMOL' which is a palatable blend of proteins,
energy and polyunsaturated oil formulated to improve coat condition
and the general appearance of all livestock, including poultry.
The 2 Happy Hens are fed a small bowl of 'LIVAMOL' mixed
with laying pallets and water for breakfast every morning.
Nestle drinks rain water from a watering can positioned under a down pipe.
Nestle camoflagues well with the brown leaf litter on the ground!
Nestle and Chilli take a drink from their water container located in the back yard.
Chilli likes to put her foot in the water bowl when she has a drink.
Chilli is attracted to water, especially rain, and enjoys getting wet
(sometimes we think she is a duck!)
2 hydrated hens.
