6 Chicks Easter 2026

The four new pullets had their first Easter earlier this month.
The new girls were about 5.5 months old
at Easter and boy do they eat a lot of food!
The photo above shows the 6 chicks at Easter grazing on grass.
Peachy is in the foreground. In the background, from left to right,
is Patty, Coco, Spot, Speckles and Pixel.
The 6 chicks had an afternoon rest under a tree during
the Easter long weekend. Pixel likes to perch and be up high.
On ground level, from left to right, is 'The Boss" Speckles standing up,
Patty (preening), Peachy (sitting), Coco (behind the tree branches)
and Spot (standing up). The 6 hens have sorted out the pecking
order and they get along OK now.
Coco (~7 years old) and Speckles (~ 8 years and 4 months old)
perch under a wooden outdoor table. Chilling out chickens.
Coco is the second in charge and she is not impressed
that the new pullets are growing taller than her!
