Chilli and Nestle were entered into the “2014 Pet of the
Year Competition”
coordinated by the local newspaper.
Last year, Lydia was too late in entering the 2 Happy Hens
in the photo competition,
however, they did not miss out this year!
Chilli and Nestle were the only two pet birds entered into
the annual “2014 Pet of the Year Competition” which is
typically dominated by dog and cat entries.
Nestle would win the “sookiest chook” award in a pet competition
any day!
Chilli would win the “best impersonation of a duck” prize
with
her love of water and honking noises when she’s cranky!
